June 16 Update: The Gators beat Virginia 6-5 in the opening round of the 2023 CWS to advance to the winners bracket. Florida's Wyatt Langford hit a massive 456-foot home run in the win over the Cavs. Langford's blast is the longest home run in the CWS history of Charles Schwab Field

Gator Baseball Was Born in 1911 and Became a Champion in 2017
The Florida Gators baseball team first fielded a team in 1911, making it one of the oldest college baseball programs in the country. However, it wasn't until recent years that they solidified themselves as a powerhouse in the sport.
